The United Way of Greater Cleveland Engagement Center is the arm of the organization that handles key stakeholder engagement. The Center houses our Day of Action volunteer program, Young Leaders and Women's Leadership Council affinity groups and our grass-roots Community Conversation engagement efforts. The goal is to provide you with meaningful United Way engagement opportunities that advance our mission, inform you about the impact of your dollars, and allow you to make a positive impact on the Greater Cleveland community.

We Need Community Heroes!

Strategic engagement is critical to our ability to advance our mission and we have a website specifically designed to enhance our volunteer engagement efforts in support of our Day of Action program.

Get Connected is the online go-to place for volunteers who want to give of their time and talents to the Greater Cleveland community.

As a volunteer with our Day of Action program, you have the opportunity to help others as United Way works to create a safety-net of services for the Greater Cleveland community.

That is why WE NEED HEROES! Heroes? Yes, HEROES! It takes hard work, dedication and a passion for being a catalyst for change to improve our community. If this describes you, then you're the hero we need. We need your time, talents and influence to invest in your community and affect change.

Below are some ways you can become a HERO:

    1. Be a Community Hero! We invite you to register, view, and then signup on the Get Connected site for United Way volunteer opportunities. By registering, you take a step to not only volunteer but you also take a step to make a significant impact on our community.
    2. Recruit Community Heroes! Register an employee team from your company. The Engagement Center's Day of Action program aligns our corporate partners' social responsibility goals with our Community Impact agenda. Our Day of Action program is at the heart of connecting volunteers to opportunities that advance our mission.
    3. Connect with other Community Heroes! Learn more about United Way's affinity groups (Young LeadersWomen's Leadership Council).

Each of us has the power to make an impact, but if we work together the impact is more powerful and changes more lives. If you would like to become a Community Hero then visit our website to explore volunteer opportunities at volunteer.unitedwaycleveland.org.

Thank you in advance for your support!
