Hunger Network Food Rescue relies solely on volunteers to transport food donations from donor sites, such as grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, and produce distributors, to our nonprofit partner recipients, including emergency food centers, community centers, healthcare organizations, schools and libraries. To get started, please visit Become a Food Rescue Hero - Hunger Network where you can download our Food Rescue Hero App. Once you complete registration, you can view and claim rescues which are listed according to date, time and location. Each rescue only takes an hour!
This opportunity requires the use of a smart phone to use the app, along with a vehicle, current driver's license and auto insurance.
