Now That's What I'm Talking About! Summer Lunch Program
"Now That's What I'm Talking About!" Summer Lunch program begins on Wednesday, May 27 in 2026. Tentatively our last day of the program is Friday, August 21, 2025. During the summer of 2025, we served 18,630 lunches to 424 registered children in Geauga County. We only prepare lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the exception of holidays. Volunteers gather at Claridon Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Rd., to prepare and package lunches and then clean up afterwards. Volunteers arrive at 9. By 11:30 we have the lunches packaged and heading out the door to be delivered. After everyone leaves to deliver lunches, we clean up. Depending on how much of a mess we make and how many hands are helping, clean up is usually done between 12:30 and 1.
